The number of players/pairs to be accepted for the main events are: 32 for single events and 24 for double events.

ELIGIBILITY
Participation in the 2009 Panvita RSL Slovenia International Badminton Championships is open to players of any National Association by BWF.

SYSTEM OF COMPETITION
K.O. system according to the Laws of Badminton and Competition Regulation of the BWF.

ENTRY FEES
30 EUR per player per event.
Note:Entry fees must be paid via bank transfer before the tournament or at latest at the tournament before the first scheduled match. Failure to do so means that the player will not be allowed to play. The member Association that enters a player into a Circuit tournament is responsible for paying the entry fees for that player. For all players withdrawing in the time between the entry and the beginning of the Tournament, the Organisers can invoice the entry fee to the relevant Member Association. There is no title to returning or remission of the entry fee in case of withdrawal from the tournament for any reason whatsoever. Organisers are allowed to refuse entries if players have outstanding fees from a previous year.
Fines for withdrawing from the Badminton Europe Circuit tournament: If a player who is accepted into a tournament, withdraws from the entire competition for any reason whatsoever within 7 (seven) days before the first scheduled match of the tournament, the Member Association entering the player shall make a payment of EURO 100. – to Badminton Europe.

TRANSPORT
Transport will be provided free of charge from/to Ljubljana Airport (www.lju-airport.si) and Graz Airport (www.flughafen-graz.at). Transport will also be provided from the tournament hotels to the sports hall and back. In order to be met at your arrival, please inform us about your flight details.

We kindly ask you to do this at least 7 days before the event otherwise you may not be picked up upon your arrival.

CONDITIONS OF PLAY
The tournament will be played in full accordance with the Laws of Badminton and Competition Regulations adopted by the BWF as well as the Badminton Europe Circuit 2008-2009 Instructions. Competitors must be prepared to play at the times determined for the events for which they have entered. Competitors will be scratched if not ready to play when called.

MEDICAL SERVICE
A physician will be present in the sport hall throughout the competition.

DRUG TESTING
Drug testing might be carried out on random basis throughout the tournament. All competitors participated are required to comply with doping test when it is conducted in accordance with prevailing regulations as adopted by BWF.

CLOTHING AND ADVERTISING
Advertising on clothing and color of clothing shall be regulated by BWF Competition Regulations 19 to 23.

VISAS
After entering a player(s) in the tournaments it is the Member Nation’s responsibility to secure visas for their players – if this is needed. Make sure that visa applications are made early enough.
